Lighting Inspiration

/ ˈambɪəns/
  1. the character and atmosphere of a place.

I think ambience is the perfect word to define what lighting brings to a room. I can’t wait for our home to be semi complete so I can start purchasing pendant lights. I am tempted to purchase some now but I know I will change my mind 100 times over in the next 12 months.

We went a bit overboard and added light bayonets everywhere in our home so we can easily change them over to downlights / pendants after handover. I even added two above the master bed with individual switches on each side, so the pendants can serve as bedside lamps 🙂

Below are images of my “current” and I place great emphasis on the word current, lighting inspiration.

Love your choices. I’m most partial to the ceramic ones in the second picture. I really had to restrain myself with lighting choices because there are so many beautiful works of art now as pendant lights.
